Nestled within the tranquil village of Lucker, Northumberland, The School House offers the ideal wedding venue surrounded by miles of breath-taking countryside. The perfect setting for a romantic, intimate wedding day.
The charming School House building and outdoor spaces can be hired on an exclusive use basis and can accommodate up to 60 guests for your daytime celebration, with capacity for up to 90 guests in the evening.
We pride ourselves on being a one-stop, “retreat” style of venue, meaning that once you arrive, everything you need for the perfect wedding day or wedding weekend is within a short walking distance.
THE VENUE
The historic venue, which was once an old School House, is truly beautiful inside and out.
Large windows fill the room with natural light, stone arches frame the entrance to the main dining hall and soft, tasteful decoration gives the perfect ambiance for a romantic evening celebrated with friends and family. You’re also very welcome to add your own touches to bring to life the bespoke vision you have for your wedding day.
Your special day will be enhanced by the Stablewood team who will be committed to making it a memorable day and will be there to help take any stress out of your planning, with a dedicated wedding coordinator on hand to ensure everything runs smoothly.
